Charles Ben Howell appeals a take-nothing summary judgment on his action for defamation and for breach of the Texas Code of Judicial Conduct against appellee, Nathan Lincoln Hecht. In fifteen points of error, Howell alleges the trial court erred in holding, as a matter of law, Howells petition had not stated a cause of action upon which he could recover damages, attorney fees, or costs. He also contends that the court erred in permitting Hecht to file an untimely supplemental motion for summary judgment and thereafter denying Howells motion for a continuance.
